It is not so easy in our world, dedicated to mobility and technical advances, to focus on ecological thinking. Fortunately, the trend goes to a better use of resources, but there is no denying, that it could go way faster. Since it is quite hard to change \u201ethe whole system at once \u201c, it is even more important to make changes little by little and to contribute to a better planet this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find \u201edoable\u201c Ways to get into Action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A nice onset to implement this resolution is the often-used paragraph in E-mails: \u201ethink before you print\u201c. Unfortunately, I am a very visual person, that needs the paper printed to be able to internalize the written word. Therefore the \u201cPaperless Office\u201d is not a possible solution for our company right now. Nonetheless, we found a reasonable way to print in all conscience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since more than a year, we print our documents on selected, eco-friendly paper, that lacks the former distinct \u201eECO\u201c-type flavor and still has a pleasing quality.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, we take a further step with Packaging. In this area, we try to avoid additional waste and re-use the packaging material that is provided and used by our suppliers. Currently a lot of packaging used is still styrofoam and plastic, so it is very important to us to re-use this material several times.<\/strong> When it comes to buying new material, great importance is attached to use paper or material made of cornstarch.<\/strong>\u00fcr uns eine\u00a0Mehrfachnutzung dieser Materialien<\/strong>\u00a0wichtig. Uns ist es ein Anliegen dies wieder zu verwenden und bei\u00a0Neuk\u00e4ufen auf Papier und Maisst\u00e4rke<\/strong>\u00a0umzustellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very pleased about our newest acquisition: Adhesive reinforced tape made from paper, printed with our CETEC Systems Logo. With this we have found a great way to reduce the plastic part,<\/strong> when it comes to adhesive tape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that\u2019s still not the end of it!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to our environmentally very aware Office Manager our\u00a0shipping document pouches are made of paper instead of plastic<\/strong>\u00a0already a long time now. Those green pouches (instead of the usual red ones) please our conscience but are also a great eye-catcher.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A \u201eGreen\u201c Office Environment\u00a0 \u2013 For Body and Soul<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Finally, some of our team are enthusiastic hobby gardeners.<\/strong> This year they were again very successful in turning our office life \u201egreen\u201c, spicing it with herbs and vegetables. Furthermore, our office terrace is decorated with beautiful flowers and even bees are flying by for a visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am very pleased, that together with my team, we are pulling in the same direction. Anyone of us will leave a footprint on this planet sooner or later, and it is important for me, to do this with good conscience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
