A Splice is a solderless crimp connection of two components formed by crimping a metal clip onto the ends of the components.
What are the advantages of splicing?
Manufacturers in the following industries routinely benefit from Splicing

Safe & Effective
The SM CRIMP is an ergonomic, safe and flexible machine, which provides exceptional splicing results for your business.
How exactly does splicing work?
1.First, the insulation is stripped from the ends of the wires to connect (if necessary).
2.Then the metal clip is cut from the splice band (continuous reel of metal ribbon) and formed to an open-barrel terminal (U-shaped).
3.Finally, it is compressed tightly around the bare wires. The deformation of the components and the terminal during the crimping process guarantees gastight connection.
